ELA Guidebook planning and collaboration for 5th & 6th grade teachers from FAE and ABE only. Please bring Chromebook, current Guidebook text, and a recent reading assessment.
All sessions will take place at Brooks Education Center in Slidell with the Exception of the December 10th. December 10th will be a walkthrough at Bayou Lacombe Middle from 8:30 - 11:00.

This course is for grade EL Teachers at the Junior High and High School level. Bailey Education Group will be presenting using Frames for Fluency I & II, and domain data analysis.
Please bring the following materials:
November 19th - Chromebook/Laptop, Frames for Fluency Teacher Editions I & II
December 9th - Chromebook/laptop, Champion of Ideas Teacher Edition and student textbook
Mrs. Dieck will let EL teachers know what to bring to the remaining dates.
Please note the January 5th date will be a half-day session (AM).

A one day training to gain understanding of TBRI, the risk-factors that may impact behavior in the classroom and learn about the three principals of TBRI to support all students in school.

SWE educators will gather research-based strategies to best support learning acceleration in whole group and small group settings. They will analyze student data and reflect on ways to leverage those strategies to further support student learning. They will develop an actionable plan to implement these strategies into upcoming instruction to bridge student understanding of prerequisite skills to grade level concepts.
