Kindergarten teachers from varying school sites will collaborate and review outlined assessments based on the 2024-25 District Scope and Sequence/Planning Calendar. All drafted assessments will be reviewed and finalized for posting to the Kindergarten Google Classroom.

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) Training gives staff skills to recognize and respond to crises that may involve more challenging behaviors.

NCI Refresher is for personnel who are getting re-certified in Non-Crisis Intervention. This training providers verbal and non-verbal techniques to de-escalate behavior. This training is for Salmen High staff only. There will be a 30 minute break for lunch.

This training is for personnel who work with students that require intervention to address disruptive or violent behavior. The training provides successful verbal and non verbal techniques to de-escalate behavior and teaches nonviolent physical techniques to safely and professionally manage physically aggressive behavior. The class offers a combination of classwork, physical demonstrations and physical practice of techniques learned. There will be an 1 hour lunch break.
